Tim Schneider

Timothy W. Schneider, Ph.D. is the Louisiana State Coordinator for the National Institute for School Leadership. In his role as state coordinator, he is responsible for client services, marketing, and instructional/curriculum development related to the NISL mission in Louisiana. Prior to joining NISL, Tim served as a teacher, assistant principal, and most recently, as the Principal of Fontainebleau Jr. High in the St. Tammany Parish, LA school district. He has been recognized as both a Teacher of the Year and as a regional Principal of the Year. In addition to extensive teaching and administrative experience K-12, for the past 14 years Tim has been a Clinical Professor at the University of Southern Mississippi, teaching graduate courses in educational leadership and school administration. Tim holds a BA from the University of New Orleans, a M. Mus. Ed. From Loyola University in New Orleans, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi
