Todd Baldwin works with the National Institute for School Leadership as the State Coordinator for Kentucky. In that role, Todd leads the business development, client management, and delivery of NISL services across the state. Prior to joining the organization, Todd served in state leadership at the Kentucky Department of Education as a research and policy analyst, assistant director, and Executive Strategic Advisor for the Associate Commissioner of the Office of Next Generation Learners. He provided leadership and strategic planning for college and career readiness as well as teacher and leader effectiveness.
Before joining the state department, Todd spent seven years as a high school social studies teacher in Tennessee and Kentucky. He served on the Kentucky Commissioner’s Teacher Advisory Council as well as the Kentucky Teacher Network for Civics Engagement. He has been recognized by the Tennessee State Legislature as well as Milligan College, the University of Louisville, and the University of Kentucky, for his work in civics education and educational leadership. Todd holds BS and M.Ed. from Milligan College, and a Rank I in Administration from the University of Kentucky where he is currently completing his Ph.D. in Education Sciences.
